Colorado Association of Health Plans, Colorado Hospital Association, and Colorado Medical Society stand united in opposition to HB 25-1174, which would set a dangerous precedent in Colorado.
House Bill (HB) 25-1174 will harm consumers, reduce access to care, drive up costs, disrupt innovation, and stifle competition. Legislators must vote down reckless proposals that use arbitrary government price controls in place of real solutions. HB 25-1174 does not achieve the goal of bringing immediate – or comprehensive – relief to the entire health care safety net.
