Denver, CO – The Colorado Association of Health Plans (CAHP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin McFatridge as its new Executive Director. With a career that spans nearly 30 years in communications, healthcare leadership, strategy, and advocacy, McFatridge brings a wealth of experience to this pivotal role.

In his most recent position as Executive Director of the Colorado Healing Fund, Kevin led efforts to support victims and survivors of mass tragedies, navigating the complexities of nonprofit management during challenging times. Kevin has exceptional experience with healthcare associations including as Chief Operating Officer for the Michigan State Medical Society, where his strategic vision and operational leadership helped elevate the organization to new heights.

“I am excited to return to my roots in healthcare and association leadership with CAHP,” said McFatridge. “Working alongside talented professionals to improve access to quality healthcare for all Coloradans is a mission I deeply believe in. CAHP is uniquely positioned to shape the future of healthcare in the state, and I’m eager to contribute to this critical work.”

McFatridge has a reputation for building strong relationships and delivering results. At the Michigan State Medical Society, he worked closely with physician groups, health systems, and policymakers to champion forward-thinking healthcare policies. His experience in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, combined with a passion for improving healthcare access, will prove invaluable as he steps into his new role at CAHP.\
