Beginning January 1st, 2021, Substance Use Disorder (SUD) inpatient, residential, and withdrawal management services will be fully available under Health First Colorado’s Medicaid Plan in accordance with House Bill 18-1136. These services will be reimbursed by the Regional Accountable Provider Participation Colorado’s health plans are committed partners in helping facilitate a smooth transition to the new benefit, helping providers understand the authorization process, and ensuring that Colorado’s Medicaid members have access to the care they need.
