Amanda was appointed Executive Director of the Colorado Association of Health Plans in February 2019. She works to represent the health plans to deliver a unified voice for achieving a competitive and affordable health care marketplace in Colorado. Amanda has spent her career in health care, previously serving as Director of Member Services at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Prior to her time at MGMA, she spent many years overseas working on European and global health care policy as Executive Director of Health First Europe and Director of Public Affairs at Instinctif Partners in Brussels, Belgium. Amanda holds a Graduate Certificate in International Marketing from Boston University, a Master’s degree in Political Strategy and Communication from the University of Kent, and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Karlee joined the Colorado Association of Health Plans (CAHP) in September 2019 as the Associate Director and is responsible for helping manage and execute CAHP’s legislative and regulatory strategy. Karlee joined CAHP after working in Washington, DC for a decade for Members of Congress. She most recently served as a Chief of Staff to a Congressman where she was responsible for executing all policy and communications for the Congressman’s office. Prior to working in the House of Representatives, she worked for Senate leadership, working on health care policy. Karlee graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish.
